Hi! I'm Blake. I am a two-year-old male Sheepadoodle and weigh just 65 pounds and ready to play!
I am a loyal, loving, and playful dood. I LOVE water! Are you looking for a buddy to swim with you? It's me! Are your kiddos looking for a friend to splash in the sprinklers with them? Pick me! I love to chase, play fetch, and make friends! Everything is exciting for me and I never meet a stranger I don't like.
My foster mom gets me up early for potty time (before it gets too hot). I try and avoid the midday heat at all costs. I usually play outside until 7:00AM when mom feeds me my breakfast, then it's back outside for one-on-one training time. I will come inside for small break to recoup then its back outside to play before supper. I like one extra potty break in the evening before I go to bed in my crate.
I love to learn and I have been learning a lot so teach me anything. I am currently learning my basic commands and I know what "sit" and "stay" means. Since I get super excited anytime the doors opens my foster mom is teaching me to sit and wait before I go outside. One thing I'm still working on is leash training. I'm VERY powerful and can easily pull my owner if I get too excited or want to run. For my safety, my owner must work with me on this and double leash me until I learn. I am also learning not to jump up on everyone that I meet and I am making great progress with that!
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Dog sibling required
- No children under 6 since I jump
- A family dedicated to my ongoing training needs, especially my leash pulling
- Active family who can exercise me daily
- Yard with secured fence
