Dodger‘s Story

❤️Dodger is Available❤️

Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hi! My name is Dodger. I was living on the streets in South Texas, so I am not really sure how old I am. I just lost my first baby tooth, so I'm around 4-months-old. I weigh 10 pounds and am still growing! People say I am super cute – maybe some type of terrier mix?

I'm still a young pup, so I am learning everything – walking on a leash, going to the bathroom in the right places, chewing only on my toys, and coming when I’m called. Some things I've already learned like sleeping in my crate, being loved, and fed every day (my favorite!) The vet was pretty impressed with me! I just need a few more shots, lots of attention, and baths (playing outside is my favorite!)

I like to start my day with a long walk, then it's breakfast time. After that, I am ready for a long nap. I get alone with all people and dogs, but give me a few toys and a small backyard and I'll entertain myself for hours! I have never met a cat so I don’t want to promise anything there.

Since I have been in my foster home, I have only been left alone a few times. I just nap in my crate until someone comes back to get me. Because I'm so young, I shouldn't be left unattended. Bottom line, I am an adorable, happy puppy and will be a wonderful addition to any family that is willing to love me and give me the attention and training I need as a young pup!

Here’s what I’m looking for:
-Stay-at-home parent(s) to continue with potty and puppy training
-Yard with a secure fence (small yard OK) because I love being outside!

If you meet all of the requirements and live within 350 miles of Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, please apply at www.doodlerockrescue.org
