Honey‘s Story

Hi! My name is Honey and I'm as sweet as my name! I'm a 7-month-old, 28-pound miniature Golden-Doodle, so basically, perfect! Well, my foster mama thinks I am! I'm crate trained, and sleep all night without a peep, though I would definitely enjoy snuggling in bed with you instead. If you have to leave during the day, then I might complain, since I'd rather roam free and be with my people. Someone who works from home would be best. But I'm potty trained, and love the dog door! Seriously, being outside is so much fun- and I love to have fun! I'm up for any adventure, so let's go! I'm great in the car and on the leash, love exploring new places, and meeting new people and pups! I carefully say hello then ask to play! I make friends with everyone I meet! I especially love it when my friends play fetch with me, or tug of war, or with my squeaky toys. I'm curious, but not intentionally destructive. My fluffy toys are still in one piece, but I did chew up a rubber toy and some sticks. My foster mom says that's because I'm still a puppy, but thinks I'll grow out of that. She also says I'm soft and fluffy like a cloud, and that I don't shed! She just loves to snuggle with me, which is great because I love it, too! I especially love ear scritchies and tummy rubs. I love to be close, and sometimes follow her around, but will also run off to play with my foster siblings-4 legged and 2 legged alike! I'm great with kids of all ages, though I am learning to not put my paws up to say hello. I'm very gentle, though! I know sit, and I know to come when my foster mom whistles. And I'm very treat motivated, so I learn quick! I might be a little too eager for treats, since my little nose searches out yummy smells, and sometimes my paws follow onto counters or tables. I'm still working on 'off,' but it's so hard when I'm excited to see you or I want something on the counter! Well, that's just a quick snippet of who I am. Hopefully someone who loves adventures and has a few 2 and 4 legged friends to play with will find me and we'll have the best life together! My foster mom says I'm practically perfect, but another dog to play with and teach me a few more tricks is probably a necessity. I know that a perfect family is out there waiting for me! ?❤?
