Zibby‘s Story

Zibby spent the first part of her life having litter after litter, never knowing what it was like to run, play and love. In just a few short weeks she has become the sweetest dog . She came to us very timid, sad and broken. Now she has embraced her new life of love, happiness and relaxation. She wouldn't let us come close to her at first and now can not get enough petting. Her great big tail thumps the floor when her name is called or just when you look at her. She is a 4 to 5-year old sheep-a-doodle and weighs about 45 pounds. She does not shed and has the softest coat.

She does not like loud noises and quick movements. A quiet, calm house is an absolute must for her. No children under 13/quiet children over 13. Dogs are ok and we are unsure about cats.

Someone who works from home would be great. She loves her people and loves to be pet and snuggled. Zibby is potty trained but we let her out as soon as we let her out of the crate and every couple of hours. She sometimes goes to the door to ask to go out.

She is timid but friendly when meeting new people. She will not attempt stairs so a single story home would be best.

Zippy likes her crate and sleeps in it every night. We only close the door to the crate when we leave the house and at night. Zibby will need a big crate she is currently in a soft sided extra large. She makes herself quite at home under my desk during the day.

She loves to be outside. She is good on a leash but prefers to sit in the yard and roll in the grass. She prefers to walk, not run, and does get a bit frisky on cold mornings. She is not into doggie play but is starting to learn. She likes her foster sister dog but just doesn't know how to play.

She is a very good girl and is completely compliant but commands are not her thing. Zibby rides in the car ok but she does get car sick. Doodles are known for their wigglebutts and this girl can almost knock over her crate when you come home and first thing in the morning.

As home living is new for Zibby, she puts soft things in her mouth, such as a sock or toys made of material, and sometimes chews them apart. She is learning the difference of what is hers and what is a household item. She has a good heart and is ready to learn!

This super sweet, silly girl will make a wonderful addition to the right family!
